OUR PROGRAMS

Between August and October 2025, the project successfully completed the construction of three (3) latrines serving selected health centers in River Nile State. Three latrines handed over to the health centers under the supervision of the State Ministry of Health – Environmental Health Department, the local Health System Directors in both Atbara and Ad-Damer localities, and in coordination with the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC).

All facilities are fully functional and connected to a permanent and reliable water supply system. Each latrine block includes separate sections for men and women, with clear signage for both genders. Locks installed on both sides ensure privacy and safety for all users. Adequate lighting, both internally and externally, has been provided to support safe usage, including during evening hours.
