As part of the project to improve access to water, sanitation, and cholera prevention for Al-Jazeera IDPs in Shendi and Al-Matama, funded by UNICEF, Nabta Organization organized a two-day training for 30 participants (22 females and 8 males) on vital water and health topics on April 8 and 9, 2025. The training covered types of water sources, contamination, chlorination techniques, safe storage, the importance of handwashing, and awareness-raising on gender-based violence. Group discussions resulted in practical solutions to the problems of water contamination, solid waste management, and open defecation.
