OUR PROGRAMS

As part of the UNICEF-funded project to improve access to water, sanitation, and cholera prevention for IDPs in Shendi and Al-Matama, Nabta teams conducted field assessments in Samra Al-Daqaisha, Taljah-Al-Jiyad, and Al-Zarrab Hospital. Results included the installation of large 2,000-liter water tanks with steel foundations, the extension of water distribution networks, and the construction of rainwater harvesting basins. These efforts benefited 929 individuals in Samra Al-Daqaisha, 319 in Taljah-Al-Jiyad, and 132 in Al-Zarrab Hospital.
