As part of the project to improve access to water, sanitation, and cholera prevention for Al-Jazeera IDPs in Shendi and Al-Matama, funded by UNICEF, Nabta teams distributed hygiene kits to 166 families (totaling 686 individuals) in the areas of Al-Samra-Al-Diqasha, Al-Zarrab Hospital, Al-Talajah Camp, and Al-Matama locality on May 29, 2025. The kits distributed to each family included 15 bars of soap and 5 chlorine strips. The distribution was accompanied by awareness sessions on the proper use of chlorine, the importance of hand hygiene, and disease prevention.
