OUR PROGRAMS

With the support of the British Council within the KLP and within the framework of the project to strengthen the capacities of working women in the unorganized sector and address child labor, a workshop was held for the voluntary mechanism to enhance the capacities of women working in the informal sector and to address child labor.

The workshop was attended by (15) individuals (7) women and (8) men representing; the Department of Social Affairs, Department of Women and Child, Council of Child Welfare, Department of Mental Health, and Director of Health Insurance in the locality, Diwan of Zakat, Shendi Textile Factory, Diwan of Endowments, Investment Department, Sudanese Telecom Company and a representative of women working in the informal sector.

The workshop dealt with strategic planning, the role of the mechanism, as well as the concepts of partnerships and communication skills.
