Today, January 3, 2023, with the support of Nabta Organization, we are holding the first meeting of the Gender Equality Network in River Nile State

Twelve participants, representing the localities of Atbara, Al-Damer and Abu Hamad, participated in the meeting. Persons with disabilities, resistance committees, civil society organizations and the health sector also participated in the meeting.

A full enlightenment was provided to the attendees about the network, its objectives, and the areas in which the organization will work

Participants emphasized the importance of the network and the necessity of interacting with its activities, especially in light of the poor conditions that women live in in the River Nile state.
